The aim of this study is to adapt the "Computer Programming Self-Efficacy Scale for Computer Literacy Education" developed by Tsai et al. (2019) into Turkish for middle school students and to obtain a valid and reliable measurement tool. The participants of the study consisted of 348 eighth-grade students. To test the factor structures of the adapted scale, the obtained data were analyzed using first and second order confirmatory factor analyses. The analysis results indicated that the adapted scale had high reliability and achieved convergent and discriminant validity. The results of the first and second order confirmatory factor analyses showed that both models had good fit values with the data. The original scale's 16 items and its 5-factor structure (Logical Thinking, Cooperation, Algorithm, Control, Debug) were preserved in the Turkish scale. Consequently, it was concluded that the scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool in the Turkish culture.
